NEW MACHINERY CONTACT FOR UMOSTART APPLICATION

Contact has recently been made with the machinery manufacturer APV from Dallein, Austria, who specialise in production of applicators for fertilizers and slug pellets. Through their European network of dealers ( in the UK) the company has experience of Umostart being successfully used through their machines. SPARVIERO NOW WITH BYDV RECOMMENDATION

Recent press items have highlighted that many cereal crops did not get sprayed for BYDV last autumn due to wet conditions, especially in the west. Sipcam’s 100gms/litre encapsulated lambda-cyhalothrin Sparviero now has a recommendation for use in a BYDV risk situation, & application is worthwhile up to G.S.32. Results from independent trials done on Most Micro in comparison with some other pendimethalin formulations are available . Commenting James Ward said: these results endorse the company’s long standing experience of pendimethalin formulation to produce a high quality product, which will be of great benefit to our UK customers.

ROVER use in beans

Rover has recently been granted a label extension for use in field beans. Details can be found .Commenting Sipcam UK manager Paul Hunter said: ‘We are very pleased to be the first company back in this crop with our straight chlorothalonil Rover, which will offer our customers a key cost effective product as part of their disease control programme’.
